(East Hartford, CT) September 22, 2009
Corporate Translations, a leading provider of translation and linguistic validation solutions to the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries, announced today that SGS (Systems & Services Certification), an official accreditation body for ISO 9001 standard, has granted Corporate Translations an ISO 9001:2008 certification upgrade after a rigorous audit of the entire company’s quality management systems (QMS). Globally recognized and respected, the ISO 9001:2000 standard is set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a Geneva-based worldwide federation of national standards bodies. This certification demonstrates Corporate Translations’ dedication to, and implementation of, a dedicated, systematic, and quantifiable approach to producing the highest quality translation solutions.
“The ISO 9001:2008 certification upgrade is another symbol of Corporate Translations commitment to delivering the highest quality translation solutions.” said Mary Gawlicki, President of Corporate Translations. “The quality management system we’ve maintained and improved over the past 2 years has allowed us to exceed our customers’ expectations for quality, reliability, and delivery resulting in a 9.17 out of 10 for overall customer satisfaction on our recent 2009 Customer Satisfaction Survey.”
“Throughout the recertification process and upgrade to ISO 9001:2008, Corporate Translations demonstrated an outstanding understanding of the ISO standard and its commitment to continual improvement,” said John Dickey, President of Quality Solutions, an ISO consulting group.
Corporate Translations is the only known translation company to have attained ISO 9001:2008 certification in both translation and linguistic validation of patient-reported outcomes instruments.
